I believe in a creator God of a spiritually fallen human race who gave the world a virgin-born son of God Jesus Christ who was crucified on a cross as payment for the sin of this fallen world and was raised from the dead and appeared to the multitudes. I believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God spiritually imparted onto men to preserve in manual scripts.
I believe that because of Jesus’s death, the sins of this spiritually fallen world, including mine, have been atoned for, and that because of that, I will live in Heaven after my physical death here on Earth. I understand that on my own, I could never possibly hope to be good enough to enter Heaven.
Understanding that Jesus, who is God, came to Earth in human form and did not have to die on the cross but chose to for my sins, I chose to follow the lifestyle that he laid out to be lived while he was here on Earth with his disciples.
I am not perfect. I still sin, and I still stumble, but I repent for these actions. I am not concerned with my eternal destination because Jesus has taken care of that, but I desire not to be ashamed to pray before God. I hope for my testimony to cause others to love one another and Christ.
I write this testimony not claiming to have it all figured out but desire to share the good news with you. I am on a journey of learning all the more every day.
